Raymond Settles Obituary

Raymond Settles Jr., age 67, of Willisburg, passed away at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 at the Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.
He was born in Marion County on Jan. 6, 1946 to the late Raymond Sr. and Irene Warner Settles.
He was of the Baptist faith and a construction worker.
Preceding him in death were a sister, Nancy Sue Baker and a half-brother, Ernie Lee Smith.
Survivors include a special companion, Hazel Sullivan; a daughter, Tammy Sue Lawson (Steve) of Bardstown; two sons, Raymond Dewayne Settles of Covington and Troy Lynn Settles of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a brother, David Harold Settles of Mackville.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 30 at Carey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Bowen, minister of the Willisburg Christian Church, officiating.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as pallbearers were Raymond Dewayne Settles, Everett Lynn Settles, Junior Keith, Danny Keith, Ronnie Hardin and Gary Settles.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
