Clarence Ray Chesser

Clarence Ray Chesser, 74, of Polin Road, Willisburg, passed away at 5:05 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at the Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.
A native of Washington County, he was born on Oct. 8, 1939, to the late Robert Lee and Ellie Milburn Chesser. He was a member of The Church of God, a retired construction worker and farmer.
Survivors include, his son, Jerry Chesser (Sheila) of Willisburg; three brothers, Leroy Chesser (Sue), Tolbert Chesser (Helen) and Robert Junior (Imogene) Chesser all of Willisburg and four sisters, Peggy Hawkins (Benny) and Mae Marple of Willisburg, Juanita Byrd (Roy) of Chaplin and Rosell Bunch (Bobby) of Springfield.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 10 at the Willisburg Church Of God Of Prophecy with Rev. Earl Hazel, officiating.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as pallbearers were Wesley Bunch, Kurt Chesser, Shawn Clark, Chris Clark, Brock Hawkins and Tim Marple.
