Donnie Darrell Holt, age 61, of Bloomfield, passed away at 12:01 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was born in Lebanon on June 29, 1952 to Donald and Mattie Chesser Holt. He was a member of the Willisburg Church of God Of Prophecy and was a retired supervisor for the Kentucky Department of Transportation in Washington County.
Survivors include his wife, Francy Houck Holt; two daughters, Missy Bobblett (Kevin) of Willisburg and Ginger Holt (Max Moore) of Chaplin; three grandchildren, Ethan Hillard, Hunter Bobblett and Diesel Moore; his parents, Donald and Mattie Holt of Chaplin; a brother, Jack Holt (Kay) of Chaplin and a sister, Virta Thomas of Chaplin.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 10 at the Willisburg Church Of God Of Prophecy with Rev. Steve Puckett, the church pastor, officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Mike Willingham, a former pastor. Burial was in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin. Serving as pallbearers were Kenny Downs, Lloyd Lewis, Roger Monroe, Rex Curtsinger, Dennis Curtsinger, Darrell Dean, Scott Dennis and Darrell Monroe.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
