Frances E. Fogle

Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Weathers Fogle, age 74, of Commercial Avenue, Springfield, passed away at 3:15 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 at the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.
A native of Washington County, she was born on June 19, 1939 to the late Joe Buck and Lavinia Girton Weathers. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a homemaker. Preceding her in death was her husband, Louis Fogle on May, 27, 2012; a daughter, Frances Lenora Fogle; a sister, Mary Jane Brady; and two brothers, George V. "Larry" Weathers and Robert E. "Bat" Weathers.
Survivors include three sons, Terrence Lee Fogle (Carolyn) of Springfield, David Lewis Fogle (Wanda) of Charlotte, NC and Mitchell Dewayne Fogle (Tonya) of Vellmar, Germany; four daughters, Margaret Louis Fogle of Louisville, Mary Elizabeth Crowe (Gary) of Louisville, Rose Marie Fogle of Indianapolis, In. and Gloria Jean Fogle of French Lick, In.; 18 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and four brothers, John W. Weathers (Edna) of Louisville, Joseph L. Weathers of Dover, Del., William M. Weathers of St. Mary's and James L. "Boonie" Weathers (Nancy) of Dale City, Va.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Ben Brown and Deacon Gus Cooper officiating.
Burial was in the St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert Fogle, Quentin Crowe, Quantez Crowe, Michael Fogle, David Weathers and Michael Weathers.
A prayer service was held at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 14 by Deacon Gus Cooper at the Carey & Son funeral Home, which was in charge of arrangements.
