Mamaw, I love you so much. I wish this wouldn't have happened, but I understand everything happens for a reason. I'm gonna miss my lunch hour because it will never be the same. I thank you for taking me into your home when I couldn't go back to mine. Whenever Tyler asks, "Why won't Mamaw wake up" or "I want to go to Mamaw's", I say we can't baby because Mamaw is in heaven. I will never let him forget you. You were a second mom to me, and right now I have an emptiness and void inside my heart with your loss. I know you're looking down on me and I promise that I'll try to do what's right (like you always told me). I thank you for always being there for me no matter what time or what hour it was. I miss you so much, and I wish it was me instead of you. They say time heals pain, but you will never be forgotten. You and Pappaw were my rock. And, the things that you instilled into me, I will carry out throughout the rest of my days.
