Nancy Christerson

Nancy Lewis Christerson, age 55, of Mackville, passed away at 5:19 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 in the emergency room of Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown due to injuries she sustained in an automobile collision earlier that day in Nelson County.
She was born in Bardstown, Ky. on Feb. 1, 1958 to Hollie Lee and Mabel Milburn Lewis. She was a former employee of the Springfield Laundry & Dry Cleaners. Preceding her in death was her father, Hollie Lee Lewis on Dec. 28, 2012 and a brother, Roger Dale Lewis on Dec. 7, 2001.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Lynn Sexton of Mackville; her mother, Mabel Milburn of Louisville; two brothers, Jimmy Lewis of Willisburg and Tony Lewis of Campbellsville; five sisters, Mary Ardella Lewis and Cynthia Baker both of Willisburg, Brenda Spalding (James) of Fredericktown, Melissa Brito of Hodgenville and Karen Arvizu (Juan) of Mackville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17 at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Cheatham, pastor of the Anchor Of Hope Church, officiating.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as casket bearers were Roy Lewis, Jimmy Lewis, Patrick Lewis, Blake Jewell, Aaron Spalding and Kenneth Baker.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
