Robert Eugene Settles, age 50, of Croake Station Road, Fredericktown, passed away at 4 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Lebanon, Ky. on March 30, 1962 to the late Wilmer and Eleanor Anna Robertson Settles.
He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and a truck driver.
Preceding him in death were a son, Robert Craig Settles on May 2, 1998; a sister, Deborah S. Bishop on Feb. 11, 1985; and a brother, Howard Settles on Nov. 14, 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Young Settles; a daughter, Kayla Russell (Chuck) of Lebanon; a sister, Lynda Wohner of Springfield; and three brothers, Wilmer Edward Settles (Joyce) of Mackville, James Gary Settles of Springfield and Christopher David Settles (Brenda) of Lebanon.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Clark and Deacon Joe Dant, officiating.
Burial was in the Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Jerry Downs, Tony Hutchins, Carl Malz, Chuckie Downs, Terry Nally and Dale Mann.
A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Monday by Deacon Joe Dant at the Carey & Son Funeral Home, which was in charge of arrangements.
