Adam Begley, 97, of Willisburg, passed away at 9:17 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at his residence.
He was born in Hyden, Kentucky on April 18, 1920, to the late Harrison and Lillie Begley.
He was a former employee of the American Printing House for the Blind.
Preceding him in death were two sisters, Nannie Jones and Tisha Bell Jones and six brothers, Ted, Sam, Fred, Troy, Delmer and Sherman Begley.
Survivors include his wife Reba Hood Begley; a daughter, Kathy Crawford (Calvin) of London; a granddaughter, Angela Crawford; a sister, Dorothy Huff of Hyden and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, at Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Hazel, officiating.
Burial was in the Brush Grove Cemetery.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Calvin Crawford, Dana Dean, Louise Drury, Debbie Eades and Wanda Coulter.
Casket bearers were Jimmie Devine, Dylan Hume, Brandon Chesser, David Miller, Ian Miller and Bill Flinchum.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
