Betsy Tennill Curtsinger, 84, of Lawrenceburg Road in Willisburg, passed away at 2:28 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Rockcastle Regional Medical Center in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky.
A native of Washington County, she was born on Nov. 18, 1933, to the late Wilmer Lee and Catherine Grigsby Tennill.
She was a member of Willisburg Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death was her husband, William Lee "Jim" Curtsinger on May 26, 2002, and two sisters, Nancy Sue Tennill on Jan. 24, 1938, and Anna Lou Barr on April 20, 2014.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy DeVore (Lannis) of Bardstown and Tammy Thompson (Donald) of Springfield; two sons, Gary Curtsinger and Steven Curtsinger both of Willisburg; two grandchildren, James Will Thompson and Amber Rose Curtsinger; a great-grandchild, Ava Elizabeth Decker; three sisters, Helen Parrott of Springfield, Josephine Foster of Louisville and Mary Jo Hale of Springfield and two brothers, Pete Tennill (Katherine) and Ralph Tennill (Johnnie) of Springfield.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. J. W. Hatfield, pastor of Willisburg Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as pallbearers were Larry Parrott, Ruel "Buddy" Curtsinger, Jr., Jerry Scott, Stan Tennill, Kevin Tennill, Mark Lewis, Jeff Lewis and Stacy Barr.
