Eva Doris Gray Begley, age 90, formerly of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at 3:07 a.m., at the Campbellsville Retirement Home in Campbellsville, Ky.

A native of Washington County, she was born on Jan. 11, 1924 to the late Rev. Robert L. and Myrtle Catlett Gray. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church and a former employee of the Cowden Manufacturing Company.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Clifford Begley on April 25, 1997, a sister, Martha Lee Robertson and two brothers, Bobby L. Gray and James Gray.
Survivors include, her son, Garnett Begley and his wife, Sandy of Kankakee, Illinois; two daughters, Carolyn Blackerby and her husband, James M. of Campbellsville and Leveda Hayes and her husband, Roger of Shepherdsville; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Moore of Frankfort.
Funeral services were held at 1p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Cal Adams, pastor of the Temple Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as pallbearers were David Robertson, Gene Robertson , Hanson Robertson, Thomas Robertson, Jim Moore and Shane Shultz.
