Jackie David Alcorn, age 70, of Chaplin, passed away at 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 at his home.
Survivors include, his wife, Judy Terrell Alcorn; three sons, Vernon Alcorn (Mary) of Lawrenceburg, Gary Alcorn (Michelle) of Owenton and Keith Alcorn of North Dakota; two stepdaughters, Cynthia Baxter (Brent) of Mt. Washington and Kimberly Beam of Bardstown and a stepson, Jamie Brown (Pamela) of Taylorsville.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5 at the Chaplin Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Heath Woolman.
Burial was in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were William Milton Holt, Bobby Holt, Marshall Chesser, James Everett Hood, Charlie Watson, Ralph Terrell, Brent Baxter and Jesse Hardin.
Casket bearers were Buddy Lewis, Brandon Alcorn, Cameron Hester, Josh Newton, Landon Mattingly, Chris Brown, Tony Erickson and Cory Baxter.
Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
