Jacqueline Rachelle "Jackie" Cooper, 58, of E. High St., Springfield and a former resident Bardstown, died Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Hildegard House, a hospice care center in Louisville. 
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joanna Lee Cooper, May 29, 2017.
Born, March 15, 1960, in Lebanon, she was a 1978 graduate of Washington County High School, attended Eastern Kentucky University, had worked as a home nursing aide, at Dollar General Store in Bardstown, was an assemblyman at Ford Truck Plant in Louisville for 15 years and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her parents, Gus and Joann Reed Cooper of Springfield; two brothers, Gene (Pam) Cooper of Elk Grove, California and Len (Mia) Cooper of Louisville; a sister Patricia Lee (Paul) Newby of Louisville; three nieces, Christinia and Elizabeth Cooper and Kylie Newby and two nephews, Anthony and Noah Cooper.
Funeral mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Rev. John Judie and Deacon James Turner officiating.  Cremation will follow the services with a private burial in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery at a later date. 
Pallbearers will be James David Railey, Tony Richard Dean, Russell Davis, George Wright Jr., Charles Bivens and Andy Hicks. 
Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and again from 7 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
