Jason Erik Payne, age 39, died Saturday, July 21, 2012.
He is survived by his mother, Hilda Ann Payne of Springfield; father, Travis Payne Sr. and wife Anna; one brother and sister-in-law, Travis (T.J.) Payne Jr. and wife Debbie, all of Campbellsville; one son, Coby Payne of Versailles; grandmother, Valerie Smothers of Lebanon; one nephew, Tyler Payne; two nieces, Jaclyn and RonniBeth Payne; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Old Liberty Cemetery. Officiating was Brother Clellan Hays.
Pallbearers were Chuck Smothers, Jimmy Smothers, Joe Gribbins, Jay Smothers, Timothy Smothers and Robbie Turner.
Honorary pallbearers were Donnie Richerson, Andrew Richerson, Jack Eastridge, Tyler Payne, Jaclyn Payne, RonniBeth Payne, Kenny Smothers and Troy Abell.
