Rev. Larry Baker, 69, of Loretto, formerly of Willisburg, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017, at his home.
He was born in Ohio on Feb. 19, 1948, to the late Delbert and Betty Rowland Baker.
He was the pastor of the New Birth Mission in Loretto.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, William Brady Hagan.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Byrd Baker; two sons, Brian Baker of Loretto and Chris Baker (Angel) of Willisburg; two daughters, Rhonda Hagan and Vickie Noel (Todd) of Springfield; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Tony Baker of Springfield, Missouri, Danny Lee Baker of Orlando, Florida, and Louis Baker of Cocoa Beach, Florida; four sisters, Donna Jean Watson (Kenneth), Kathy Purvis and Stephanie Speer (Coy) all of Willisburg and Linda Baker of Danville.
Funeral services were held at noon, Saturday, Aug. 5, at New Birth Mission with Rev. Bobby Parker and Rev. Darrell Jewell, officiating.
Burial was in the Baker Family Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as pallbearers were Brandon Lunsford, Steven Hagan, Nick Hagan, Bryce Baker, Brady Baker and Logan Tarrence.
