Lois Ann Washburn, 61, of Loretto, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014, at her residence.
She was born July 15, 1952, in Nelson County. She was a former homemaker and a Catholic by faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Washburn, her parents, John Richard and Pauline "Polly" Powell Mattingly and one brother, Joseph Daniel "Skeeter" Mattingly.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Washburn (Jenny) of Loretto and Wayne Washburn (Malena) of Springfield, five step-grandchildren and one brother, J.R. Mattingly of Loretto.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 6785 Highway 52, Saint Francis, with interment following in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 3909 Valley Hill Road in Springfield.
Pallbearers are David Washburn, Kenny Hood, Todd Drake, David Brown, Mikie Boblitt and Danny Gilpin
Visitation was Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
Memorial contributions may go toward burial expenses.
