Mrs. Mary Corine Boblitt Peters, age 62, of Willisburg, passed away at 10:56 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort.

A native of Washington County, she was born on April 10, 1951 to the late Edison and Hazel Washburn Boblitt. She was a member of the Lawrenceburg United Pentecostal Church and a retired employee of the General Electric Company of Lousiville. Preceding her in death was a niece, Amanda Jo Boblitt and a great niece, Alivia Brooke Boblitt.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Peters; a son, Steven Peters (Toree) of Greensburg; two daughters, Lisa Land and Suzanne Coleman both of Willisburg; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; three sisters, Linda Staton (Donnie) of Springfield, Peggy Harley (Martin) of Willisburg, Betty Jean Boblitt of Louisville; and three brothers, Roy Boblitt (Betty) of Willisburg, Charles Boblitt (Dottie) of Willisburg and Billy "Duck" Boblitt (Elizabeth) of Springfield.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 25 at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Seidenfaden, pastor of the Lawrenceburg United Pentecostal Church, officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Frank Peters of Manchester, Ky.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Gary Boblitt, Brandon Peters, Ricky Staton, Tyler Berry, John Marcus Staton and Marcus Staton.
Casket bearers were Roy Boblitt Jr., Johnny Boblitt, Chris Boblitt, Ernie Peters, Michael Harley and Kaelen Harley.
