Paul Jeffrey Barber Jr., age 21, of Louisville, formerly of Springfield, passed away at 9:46 p.m., Monday, Aug. 12, 2013 at his home in Louisville.

He was born on March 13, 1992 in Lebanon, Ky.
A member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2010 graduate of Washington County High School and an employee of Fanatics in Louisville.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Wright Barber of Louisville; his father, Jeff Barber of Springfield; a son, Jayden Rashawn Barber; his girlfriend, Jocie Hardin of Louisville; a sister, Constance Wright of Louisville; three brothers, Chris Wright and Vincent Barber, both of Louisville and Joseph Barber of Springfield; his maternal grandmother, Emma Edelen and his paternal grandmother, Pauline Barber, both of Springfield; and a niece, Naomi Barber.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Ben Brown and Deacon Gus Cooper, officiating.
Burial was in the St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Dale Ellery, Tavon Ellery, Davon Ellery and J.J. Fogle.
Casket bearers were Maurice Keene, Garrett Shontee, Justin Wright, Qwan Turner, Quan Spalding and Jordan Young.
A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Friday by Deacon Gus Cooper at the Carey & Son Funeral Home which was in charge of arrangements.
