Rita Riley Curtsinger, 69, of Willisburg, passed away at 4:02 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was born in Bardstown, Kentucky on March 11, 1949, to the late Harvey Lee and Clara Elizabeth Jury Riley.
She was a member of Free Pentecostal Church of Willisburg, was a graduate of Spencer County High School and a former employee of Cowden Manufacturing and Union Underwear Company.
Preceding her in death was a great-granddaughter, Haley Nicole Speer; three sisters, Betty Bentley, Mary Helen Cox and Bonnie Hill and two brothers, Jimmy Riley and Joe Phil Riley.
Survivors include her husband, Randall "Buddy" Curtsinger; two daughters, Djuna Hill of Springfield and Toni Chesser of Willisburg; four sons, Randy Curtsinger (Lorrie) of Willisburg, Gene Curtsinger (Sandy) of Radcliff, Johnnie Curtsinger (Vickie) of Harrodsburg and Keith Curtsinger (Angie) of Willisburg; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; three sisters, Ann Hahn, Lee Standiford (Gary) and Donna Coulter (Ricky) all of Bardstown and two brothers, Roy Riley (Kay) of Bardstown and Ricky Riley (Becky) of Louisville.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 31, at Anchor of Hope Church with Rev. Ricky Cheatham, the church pastor, officiating.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Elias Villa, Tyler Chesser, Trevor Chesser, Lane Curtsinger, Randy Curtsinger Jr. and Austin Evans.
Casket bearers were Gary Bentley, Phillip Riley, Bobby Cox, Brandon Coulter, Wayne Standiford, Jason Riley, Curt Standiford and Shawn Standiford.
Burial was in the Lonesome Dove Cemetery at Willisburg.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
