Thelma Emmet Janes (1925 - 2018)

Thelma Emmett Janes, 92, of Bardstown, formerly of Fredericktown, passed away at 8:43 p.m., Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Barren County, she was born Dec. 26, 1925, to the late Frank and Docia Ellen Free Emmett.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert Thomas Janes Sr. Sept. 1, 1995; a daughter, Martha Lynn Golden Feb.19, 2007; two sons, Michael Joseph Janes Feb. 14, 1951, and Robert Thomas Janes Jr. July 4, 2017; a sister, Elsie Mae Logsdon in January of 1994, and a brother, Virgil Lee Emmett on Feb. 26, 1969.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Burns and her husband, Herbert, of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at Holy Trinity Cemetery with Deacon Donnie Coulter, officiating.
Pallbearers were Chuck Vaughn, Roy Humes, Ricky Janes and Jay Bruner
