Wanda Mae Chesser Pritchard, age 74, of Chaplin, passed away at 5:15 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in Taylorsville.
A native of Washington County, she was born on June 17, 1939 to the late Walter and Esper Chesser. She was a member of the Willisburg Church Of God Of Prophecy.
Preceding her in death were four brothers, Sammy Chesser, Virgil Chesser, J.B. Chesser and Truman Chesser; and five sisters, Robbie Stone, Louise Milburn, Lillian Byrd, Sudie Baker and Artie Thompson. Survivors include her husband, Robert Pritchard; a brother, Marshall Chesser (Barbara) of Willisburg; and five sisters, Mattie Holt (Donald) of Chaplin, Merine Lewis and Martha Hood, both of Springfield, Betty Curtsinger (Oscar) of Willisburg and Reva Hust (Wayne) of Providence.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 12 at the Willisburg Church Of God Of Propehcy with Rev. Steve Puckett, the church pastor, officiating. Burial was in High View Cemetery in Chaplin.
Serving as pallbearers were Donnie Byrd, Danny Curtsinger, Dennis Curtsinger, Rex Curtsinger, Jack Holt and Tony Lewis.
