Wiley Walter "Bill" Williams Jr., age 85, of Clarksville, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 at his home.

He was born in Bremerton, Wash. to the late Wiley Williams Sr. and Mary Fetesoff Williams. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Christine Langford Williams, who died in 1971; his son, Wiley Walter Williams III; and a grandson, Pastor Aaron M. Griffith. Bill was a retired CW2 of the U.S. Army and a member of First Baptist Church.
Bill is survived by Iona Milburn Williams, his loving wife of 38 years; two daughters, Linda Sue (Calvin) Williams Fields, and Sandra Lynne Williams Nevin; three daughters in love, Marilyn (Randy) Gratz, Lou Crutcher and Anita (Tyrone) Crutcher Luna; three sons in love, David Milburn (Glenda) Crutcher, James Robert Crutcher, and Roger Mark (Carlene) Crutcher; one sister, Fran Jodka; 16 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and two more expected.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, Nov. 24, at the chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Dr. John Laida and Brother Eli Fields officiating. Burial was at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Military personnel served as pallbearers, with full military honors. Honorary pallbearers were the Langford family, in memory of his late wife, Lois Christine Langford Williams.
