Bobby Gene Hardin, 71, of Cox's Creek went to be with Jesus at5:49 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014, at the Baptist Health in Louisville.

A native of Washington County, he was born on October 22, 1942, to the late Randall and Nannie Katherine Lewis Hardin.
He was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church and a retired employee of the Fischer Packing Company of Louisville.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Carolyn Mae Milburn Hardin on December 8, 2011, a son, Ronald Gene Hardin on March 10, 2008, and his parents, Randall Hardin in 1991, and his mother, Nannie Katherine Lewis Hardin in 1991.
Survivors include, two sons, Terry Hardin and his wife, Suzanne of Cox's Creek and Charles Hardin and his wife, Jenny of Cox's Creek; a daughter, Fredia Lewis and her husband, Chris of Mackville; five grandchildren, Tyler Hardin, Alisha Hardin, Zachary Hardin, Ashley Lewis and Adam Lewis; a brother, Prentice Hardin of Cox's Creek and four sisters, Aline Grider of Cox's Creek, Rita Perkins of Bardstown, Judy Hardin of Willisburg and Brenda Weakley of Willisburg.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., May 28, at the Free Pentecostal Church with Rev. Frank Foster, the interim pastor of the church, officiating.
Burial will be in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin.
Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Hardin, Charles Hardin, Tyler Hardin, Chris Lewis, Ritchie Sims and Timothy Marple.
