Dorothy Faye Osborne, 85, of Bardstown, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at Flaget Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 13, 1927 in Washington County, was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph Parish and was previously employed as director of Colonial House Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Spencer Osborne; a granddaughter, Amy Beth Snellen; a great-grandson, Jude Patrick Luckett; her parents, Ray and Lucille Corbett Osborne; a brother, John Osborne; and a sister, Imogene Cambron.
She is survived by three sons, Joe Osborne III and Bill Osborne, both of Bardstown, and John Osborne of Athens, Ga.; eight daughters, Patsy Crowe, Jane Snellen, Barbara Osborne, Trese Osborne, Sally Dugan, Sue Osborne and Sher Osborne, all of Bardstown, and Lucy Brown of Elizabethtown; 29 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Lou Stine of Lebanon and Trese Ann Bland of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the Holy Trinity Cemetery. Reverend Bill Hammer was the celebrant.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church.
Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Bardstown was in charge of the arrangements.
