Mary Lee Burkhead Case, age 81, of Bloomfield, passed away at 2:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 at the Colonial Health & Rehab Center in Bardstown.

A native of Washington County, she was born on March 3, 1932 to the late Charlie and Katie Hudson Burkhead.
She was a lifelong member of Willisburg Church Of God Of Prophecy and a retired employee of the Enro Shirt Company of Louisville.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles Evan (Bill) Case; a son, Paul Keith Case; an infant grandchild, Leanne Case; two brothers, Leon and Cleo Burkhead; and three sisters, Doris Humes, Betty Ruth and Wilma Helen Burkhead.
Survivors include four daughters, Bonnie (Jim) Armstrong and Amiee Case, both of Bloomfield, Norma (Eddie) Piles of Bardstown and Kathy (Rick) Cornett of Lebanon; two sons, Frank (Gayle) Case of Bardstown and Bruce (Sue) Case of Willisburg; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Flora Auberry, Dulah (Jr.) Benham and Carolyn Hardin; and three brothers, Willard (Norma), Buddy (Lou) and Charles (Mildred) Burkhead.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 22 at Willisburg Church of God Of Prophecy with Shirley Ball and Rev. Steve Puckett officiating.
Burial was in Brush Grove Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Tyler Case, Allen Case, Matthew Cornett, Stephen Auberry, Jeremy Stokley, Dewayne Hudson, Ricky Burkhead and Ray Coulter.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
