Julie was such a beautiful person, inside and out. She always had a smile on her face, was always positive and encouraged me to do good things in my life.

Julie was my supervisor when I was doing my Field Practicum with The Region of Peel, Volunteer Resources Department. She is a big part of my success, it was an honour to work with her as my mentor through serveral programs. She guided me through college and still followed up with me after that. I am so lucky to have met Julie and will never forget the positive impact that she has created in my life.

I am so devastated by the horrible news, my condolences go out to her Husband, two children and the rest of her family. Julie will be deeply and truly missed.

I will never forget you Julie, keep shining from up above.

I met Julie as a volunteer for the PMD program through the Region of Peel. At a meeting with her and the PMD Specialist this summer, we casually exchanged stories of motherhood as we kept my 9 month old entertained during the meeting. Easy to talk to, Julie always had a kind smile, and will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family...

During our lives, so many people come and go but Julie was the type of person that once she touched your heart, she never let go. Although, I haven't seen Julie in a long time, she was always in my heart and will stay there until we meet again.

Julie and I cross paths at the Canadian Red Cross. She was very easy to like and had a gentle kindness about her.I'll always remember how she'd say "You're funny!" in her melodious voice, followed by her soft, infectious laughter. Rest in peace, Julie. We will miss you.

Rob, Anthony, Venessa, and Julie's close-knit family,

I want you to know how well-loved Julie was by all of her colleagues at Peel! In her life and in her death, Julie taught me how to live, love, smile and laugh, and she showed me just how much one can touch people's lives. Julie always had the time to acknowledge people at work...she was never too busy to smile and say 'Hi'.

With every difficulty, there is ease. Praying for faith and good health for all of you.

Kids, your mom was beautiful inside out!

Lots of love.
