R. GRAHAM YATES 1924 - 2015 Peacefully with his family by his side at Parkwood Institute, London, on Sunday, May 31, 2015 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of 61 years to the late Reva Eileen Yates (2011). Loving father of Bob Yates, Brian Yates, Barb Glover (Al) and Bev vanderHeide (Rick). Cherished grandfather of Adam, Lauren, Kelly, Acasia, Sarah, Chelsea and Matthew. Dear brother of George and Don and his sister Mary Meadus. Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Pearle, his brother Gordon and sister Norma Iley. Graham was born at home in East York on December 23, 1924. He attended East York Collegiate. Summers were spent at the Yates family homestead in Port Union on Lake Ontario. In 1943, Graham joined the Royal Canadian Navy and trained as a Radio Artificer. He served in World War II (1943-46) in Halifax and Gaspé. He attended the University of Toronto and earned his B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. Graham and Reva married in 1949 and they relocated to London, Ontario, where he worked as a Professional Engineer with Ontario Hydro for 33 years as the Distribution Engineer for the Western Ontario region. Graham retired in 1982 and enjoyed travelling to Europe with his wife Reva. They had a summer home in Seaforth, Ontario, where he continued to enjoy gardening, nature and woodworking. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Graham are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association or Veterans Care at Parkwood Institute. YING, Cyril Phillip — Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015. Beloved husband of Dorothy, loving father to Peter (Janet), Theresa (Robert Chen) and the late Anthony (Selena). Greatly loved by his grandchildren: Tiffany, Melissa, Justin and Stephanie. Cyril will be greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street at Goulding south of Steeles). Funeral Service in the Chapel at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

YUILL, JOHN  
JOHN YUILL John has "slipped the surly bonds of earth... to put out his hand and touch the face of God". He was 77 years old and died on May 24, 2015 following an accident on May 19th. His family misses him yet we rest in the assurance that we shall see him again in heaven. He leaves Pat, his wife of 47 years, daughters Amanda, Cindy and her husband Scott and his son Mathieu and his wife Alison. He loved his 5 grandchildren: Connor, Ainsley, Isaac, Morgan and Emmett. They loved playing hide-and-go-seek with him. Thank you to Dr. Pronovost and the wonderful staff at St. Michael's Hospital TNICU for the excellent care you gave him during his last week on earth. Visitation is at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave. (north of Hwy. 7), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, May 29th. Interment at Highland Memory Gardens will take place at 11 a.m. The funeral will be at the Peoples Church, 374 Sheppard Ave. E., 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 30th. Reception to follow in the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to a charity of your choice or to Mission Aviation Fellowship at mafc.org
