CLARKE, JOHN  
JOHN CLARKE May 7, 1953 - December 12, 2014 With profound sorrow we announce the sudden passing of John Clarke at age 61 of Richmond Hill. John was a hardworking, dedicated husband and father. John leaves his loving wife of 30 years Roberta, daughter Robin and son Paul (Erin). His greatest joy was being with his family, enjoying the simple things that made life so good: love, laughter, music and ice cream. His sense of humour and selfless friendship will not be forgotten by his numerous family, friends, co-workers and associates of Clarke Aluminum and Custom Sheet Metal Inc. He will be forever with us. A Celebration of John's Life will be held at the Sheraton Parkway Hotel, 600 Highway 7 East, Richmond Hill, on Sunday, December 21st from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the Richmond Room. CONTINI, Michael - Passed away very suddenly at Sunnybrook Hospital on December 16, 2014. He will always be remembered for his kind and caring way. Beloved husband to Liisa. Wonderful and loving dad to Laura and Emily. Devoted son to Lena and George (predeceased). Cherished brother to Anna Contini (Don Beals). Douglas John CASSIDY 1937-2014 On Monday, December 15, 2014 at Kennedy Lodge at the age of 77. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Cassidy. Cousin to Winnifred Sullivan, Sister Sheila, Walter, Vincent, Terrance, James, Arthur, Dennis Smith and Lois Hewitt. Our thanks to the Staff at Kennedy Lodge who took such good care of Douglas. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. at the R.S. AUDREY MAE CHARLES Passed away peacefully on December 15, 2014 at the age of 85. Audrey was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba before moving to Mississauga in 1966. Audrey was a member of St. Stephen's United Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who always put others before herself. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life. Audrey was involved in many activities from volunteering at the Compass, Healthy Start, Mississauga Bridge, Dixie Curling Club and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth and sister Shirley. Survived by her sons Rick (Nancy), Ken, Bruce (Carol), Glenn (Shelly), Bill (Beverly), her brother-in-law Joe (Lois), her niece Kim (Mitch) and nephew Jim (Liz-Ann). Audrey's grandchildren are Krystal (Dan), Christopher, Nicole, Arianna, Mackenzie, Jordan and great- granddaughter Bradley-Ann. Mom, we all love you so much and you will always be missed. COCHRANE, Alexandra Love (Johnson) - Of Leith, Scotland, passed on December 12, 2014, in Picton, Ontario, in her 70th year. Loving daughter of John 'Bertie' Johnson and Elizabeth (Love) Johnson. Sandra worked in administration with the Ministry of Community and Social Services and the Ministry of Natural Resources and later assisted her husband in restoration of Centre Island Carousel. She will be missed by her husband of 52 years, Alexander Cochrane, son Rusty (Arlene), daughters Robynne (Charlie) and Dennise, grandchildren Nic (Tina), Ashlie (Jamal), Kiersten (Dylan), Ben (Ariane), Stephanie, Bailey (Joseph) and Mac and great-grandchildren Keon, Malaika, Katilyn, Taya and Liam. Service at Consecon United Church, December 18th at 11 a.m. Donations to Prince Edward Hospice.

CAPEL, DONALD JEFFREY  
DONALD JEFFREY CAPEL Quietly at home in Guelph, on December 9, 2014 at age 52, overcome by cancer after a courageous two year journey. Beloved husband and companion to Gayleen Gray. Loving father and friend to his children, Cameron and Kate. Jeff is loved and will be dearly missed by his mother and father, Patricia (Kress) and Robert (Bob) Capel, by his sister Wendy and husband John Ferlatte and by his brother Jim and wife Penny Cameron. Jeff will be lovingly remembered by Uncle Bill, Aunt Marion, and cousins Mack and Kathy, Donna, Sue and Jeff, Nancy and Jamie, Jennifer, Joan and Margaret and their families, as well as his mother-in-law Anna (Guelph) and brother-in-law Douglas (Calgary). Jeff was predeceased by his Uncle Don and Aunt Marg, Aunt Barb and cousin Paul. Jeff's amazing humour and selfless friendship will not be forgotten by his many wonderful friends and colleagues, including his inner circle of lifelong friends from Owen Sound and the University of Western Ontario, amongst others. Throughout the last two years, Jeff was cared for by many and we want to extend our gratitude to these individuals, including Dr. Shannon Hutton (Guelph), Dr. Knight, Christine and the many caring nurses and practitioners at the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre (Kitchener), Dr. Lillian Siu at Princess Margaret Hospital (Toronto) and for his advocacy, Dr. Michael Moran, a dear friend and cancer researcher at the University of Toronto. Speaking to a crowd of over 100 adoring family and friends on November 23, 2014, Jeff shared his life philosophy based on the values of family, friendship, humour and fierce authenticity. Jeff shared his incredible intuition and wisdom with so many and brightened every event with his smile and clever wit. His greatest joy was being with Gayleen, Cam and Kate, enjoying the simple things that make life so good: love, laughter, music and food. He will be forever with us. Friends will be received at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250-14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) for visitations on Friday, December 19th from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 11:00 - 12:30 p.m. The Celebration of Life will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 20th at 1:00 p.m. followed by a burial at Greenwood Cemetery and a reception at the funeral home. She was the beloved daughter of the late Ann and Daniel Callaghan, loving sister to Tom and his late wife Marie, the late Angus and his wife Elsie, Rose Marie and her late husband John Deans, the late John and his wife Joan, Anne and her late husband Lawrie Jackson, Duncan and his wife Eleonora, Joseph, Neil and Lorna. The family will receive family and friends at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding south of Steeles Avenue) on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 3220 Bayview Avenue (north of Finch Avenue) on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow Mass at Mount Hope Cemetery.
