VARANO, Giusto - Sadly passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Mount Sinai Hospital at the age of 79. Loving husband for 50 years to Lina and cherished father to Tony and Lucy (Robert Battiston). Proud nonno to Adrian, Simon and Georgia. Dearly missed brother to Elisabetta and Maria. Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St.) on Friday from 2-4, 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W.) on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery (7300 Hwy. 27). In memory of Giusto, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital.

VILMA VERTOLLI (nee RANUCCI) May 19, 1928 - August 24, 2015 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born in Campotosto, L'Aquila, daughter of the late Rodolfo and Serafina Ranucci, Vilma immigrated to Newcastle, PA in 1936 and then to Toronto in 1948. Beloved wife of the late Claudio, proud mother of Claudette (Carmen Ruffolo); Angela (Pietro Cugliari). Cherished grandmother of Anthony (Diane), Vicky, Lisa (David Brennan). Adoring great- grandmother to Valeria and Matthew. Vilma is survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Angelo and Lena Vertolli and many nieces and nephews in Toronto and throughout the USA. Predeceased by her brothers, Carlo (Antonietta), Adamo (Lucy) and sister Lucia (Peter Ponzi). Vilma worked as the school Secretary at St. Francis of Assisi and Sts. Cosmas and Damian Catholic Schools from 1965 to 1993. Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Friday, August 28th from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (640 Glenholme Ave. - Eglinton Ave., east of Dufferin St.) on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Mausoleum (4570 Yonge St., south of Sheppard Ave.).

Beloved husband of the late Faye. Proud father of Kathy Vice (Bill Clarke), Susan Vice (Andrew Thompson), Ron Vice (Deb) and Walter Vice (Andrea). Loved Grandpa and Great-Grandpa. Dear brother of Donna Johnston (Francis).
