O'SULLIVAN, Elaine Anastasia - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elaine O'Sullivan on November 18, 2014 at the age of 71 with family at her side. Predeceased by her loving husband Brian O'Sullivan. Beloved mother of Kevin Czyrka (Angele) and the late Jenny Czyrka. Loving step-mother of Noreen (John), Michael (Sandra), Paula, John (Chris) and David (Samantha). Dear Nana to Maggie (Justin), Paddy, Sarah, Nikki, Leisha, Eimear, Meiyu, Joseph, Mia and Leo. Dearly missed by her cousin Shirley Wyton and lifelong friend Joanne Day. In accordance with her wishes, an intimate reception for family and close friends will be held to celebrate Elaine's life. Private interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Odette Cancer Centre care of the Sunnybrook Foundation in Elaine's memory. OIKAWA, Tokio - Peacefully, after a lengthy illness on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Kensington Gardens. Lovingly remembered by sisters Yoko and Mitsuko Matsumoto and the late Toyoko Kobayashi, Taeko Kumamoto and brother Shig Oikawa. He will be sorrily missed by all of his family and friends. Resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St. (just north of Dundas St.). Visitation on Thursday, November 27th from 10- 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Cardinal Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. If so desired, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A special thanks to the staff at Kensington Gardens.

OLDFIELD, Charles (Chuck) Hugh - Age 59, succumbed to his battle with cancer at the home of his sister in Innisfil surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Beloved son of Pauline and the late Fred Oldfield, loving father of Michael (Stephanie), Megan (Alex Browne), Colleen (the late Jay McGinn), John and missed by their mother Lynne Gasparini. Sadly missed by his siblings Suzanne (Howard) Thorn, Kathy Baker, Rick (Karen) and Jeff. Fondly remembered by his Aunt Phyllis Oldfield and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. OLIVER, Robert Harold - Passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 59 years to Audrey (nee Wood) and loving father to Theresa (Robert), Catherine (Gary) and Christopher (Laura). He was adored by his grandchildren Ronald, Tyler, Zack, Steven, Ashley, Aleks and Victoria and his 3 great- grandchildren Lexia, Ethan and Sienna. Also survived by his large family: brothers James (Margaret), Fred (Ann), Norman and sister Margaret and his many, many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Robert was a kind soul with a radiant smile who now joins his beloved parents Harold and Blanche, as well as his brother Larry in God's arms. Family and friends will be received at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax (905-428-8488), on Monday, November 24th from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will take place at the same location on Tuesday, November 25th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. Dear mother to Heather Jamieson (Craig Goody) of Trenton and Donna Paterson of Toronto. Loving Granny to Ariel, Hope, Hannah and Great-Granny to Jude and Tanner. Survived by her sister Virginia Fletcher and predeceased by siblings; Kay, Peggy, Bobby, Pat and Laura. Will be sadly missed by her dog Pal. OSWALD, JAMES BRUCE  
JAMES BRUCE OSWALD B.A.Sc., Mechanical Engineering, University of Toronto Born May 26, 1930, peacefully passed away October 26, 2014. He will be sorely missed by his wife Irene, his daughter Carol-Anne and son-in-law Steve Clarke and grandchildren Timothy, Daniel (Katie) and Anna, whose lives he enriched with his generous spirit and powerful intellect. They were a joy in his life and they loved him dearly. Jim graduated first in his class from the University of Toronto with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In the early years of his career he worked in the automotive manufacturing sector for Ford and Chrysler in Canada, the United States and Europe. During this time he completed two Masters Degrees. In the next phase of his career he worked as a troubleshooting consultant for the industrial sector in Canada and the United States. He went on to become president of Flexonics Canada, a multi- million dollar manufacturing corporation. He enjoyed skiing, scuba diving, sailing, hiking, reading, photography, theatre, sculpting, painting, poetry and writing insightful articles. With great perseverance he overcame his struggles with bipolar disorder with the assistance of Dr. Flak and the staff at Mount Sinai Hospital. His body was donated to the University of Toronto, Anatomy and Physiology Department.
