HEATH, VALERIE ROSEMARY (MARTIN)
VALERIE ROSEMARY HEATH (nee MARTIN) January 19, 1931 - June 29, 2015 After a very long struggle with dementia, our beloved mother passed away at the age of 84 at Ina Grafton Gage Home. Valerie, "Val", "Maggie", "Mum", "Nana" is at peace now. Valerie was predeceased by her husband Aubrey Glen Heath (1993) and by her parents Mary and Fred Martin. She leaves her daughters, Jennifer Heath (Michael "Sully" Sullivan), Tracey Gallagher (Andrew), grandchildren, Carly, Sean, Michael and Paige. Valerie also leaves her brother Beverley Martin (Cathy Bond), sister Joan Mustafa (Ahmed) and brother Peter Martin (Sandi). Valerie was an excellent cook, she enjoyed loud classical music and was a true lady. She loved to dance; even with the burden of dementia, she danced, with a bright, wonderful smile on her face. A family memorial will be held at a later date. Her final few weeks were brightened by the Alzheimer Society's gift of an iPod from the iPod Project, please consider that if a donation is desired.
