ARNILL, Reverend Dr. Murray - The Reverend Dr. Murray Arnill died Monday, April 14, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Dad is survived by his children Catherine Hill (Francis) of Uxbridge, Tim Arnill of Newmarket, Barbara Taylor (Rob) of Barrie, The Reverend Mark Arnill (Janyce) of Deseronto and by his 14 grandchildren who love him and will miss him. A poet, a friend, a Dad, a shepherd, a mentor and a fellow traveller; with humble joy and hard work, Dad served the various churches and larger body of believers as he worked throughout Northern Ontario during his ministry and well into retirement. His door was open to both friend and stranger alike and the coffee was always on. It is with sadness that we acknowledge his death. It is with thankfulness that we celebrate his life. And it is with a certain sense of awe that we acknowledge Dad's amazingly wide open arms that welcomed any and everybody. Our family is huge! Thanks Dad. "Well done, good and faithful servant!" Family and friends will be received at the Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main St. S., Uxbridge (905-852-3073) for visitation on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Trinity United Church, 20 First Ave., Uxbridge at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Huntington University, Sudbury or your local church would be appreciated. For online condolences, please visit www.lowandlow.ca Read Obituary

EMELITA BARTLETT (nee ALBUERNE) April 6, 1945 - April 16, 2014 Emily was born in Camarines Norte, the Philippines. She was the second of Emelia and Elices Albuerne's seven children (Minda, Sol, Enrico, Ramon, Danilo, Reynaldo). In 1968, Emily was the first in her family to come to Canada. Emily initially lived in Montreal. While there, she went on a blind date that proved to be wildly successful. It was with George Bartlett. Emily married George in 1973. They complemented each other perfectly. They settled in Toronto and had three children (Stefan, Emelyn, and Christopher). She was a medical technologist who worked at York Finch Hospital, North York Branson Hospital and Ontario's Ministry of Health. She became a great friend of many of her co-workers. Emily was self-confident and determined. These traits served her well in her time as President of her union at the Ministry. Emily was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2007. Not only did she beat it, it facilitated her move to the next stage of her life. She stopped working, which enabled her to dedicate countless hours to the final love of her life, her seven grandchildren (William, Andrew, Benson, Matthew, Chloe, Grace and Charlie). Emily was diagnosed with uterine cancer in August 2013. She passed away peacefully at home on April 16, 2014. Visitation at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W., Toronto, on April 25th from 6-9 p.m. Memorial service on April 26th at 11 a.m. at Bloor Street United Church, 300 Bloor St. W., where Emily was a member for decades. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Church of Canada's Mission and Service Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be left at morleybedford.ca Emily is loved by her family and friends, and will be tremendously missed by all of them. Read Obituary
