ANTOIN de SWART Antoin was one of 9 children born to Antoon and Anna in Venlo, the Netherlands. He emigrated to Canada in 1953. He will be remembered for his great cooking, delicious baking, his passion for photography and the outdoors and the bounce in his step that spoke to his boundless optimism. He was a constant source of companionship, guidance and love for his two sons Shawn (Marion) and Paul (Heather) and he will be remembered fondly by his grandchildren Jack and Luke, who knew their Opa as a kind, gentle and loving grandfather. The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Avenue), for a Mass of Christian Burial within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Saturday, August 29th at 12 p.m. The final rite of committal and interment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill). Georgia DIMAKARAKOS (nee KAPAKOS) With great sadness the family of Georgia Dimakarakos announces her passing on August 23, 2015 at the age of 80, after battling an unexpected illness. Wife of the late Kyriakos Dimakarakos. Mother of Steve (Roula), Koula (Chris Jackson), Tom and Peter (Ida Zan). Beloved grandmother of Erik/Kyriako, Ken/Kosta, Stephanie/Georgia and Alexander. Much loved sister of Theone Bitaxis, Bill (Dina) Kapakos and Bessie (Kosta) Psihopedas. Predeceased by her brothers Tom Kapakos and George Kapakos and sister Stavroula Parigoris. Sister-in-law, cousin, aunt and friend to many. Beloved by all who knew her. Georgia was born in Paleohorion, Greece on July 19, 1935 to Panagiotis (Peter) and Christofili Kapakos and made her journey to Canada in 1957. Throughout her life, she exuded warmth, kindness, generosity and quiet strength, always underscored by her gentle humour and steely determination. She was a pillar of strength, wisdom and unconditional love for all who knew her, especially her family and loved ones. She will be sorely missed and always remembered for the light she shone on us all. Family and friends will be received at the Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre (375 Mount Pleasant Rd., 416-485-5572) on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. in St. George's Greek Orthodox Church (115 Bond St., Toronto). HILTS, Irene (Hilda June Sak) - On Monday, August 24, 2015, Irene in her 91st year passed away in Ajax. Predeceased by her husband Earl Hilts (1987), her youngest son David Hilts (2008) and her sister Shirley Barras (1987). Survived by aunt Grace Hegadorn, Peterborough. L oved mother and mother-in-law of Ron (Barbara) of Bethany, Ken (Maria) of Bowmanville, Carol (Richard) Pileski of Mississauga, Joanne (Bryon) Turner of Thornbury . Cherished grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 13. Irene will be sadly missed by Dale and Jeanette Barras and family, Laura Koppens and Fran Bon. Thanks to Lorie Dagenais and girls from CC Durham. Family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, 905-428-8488), on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel. McCORMICK, Leo Allen - Peacefully, on August 23, 2015, Leo passed away at 87 years of age. Son of the late Cornelius and Mary McCormick and brother of late Mary, Sarah, Fr. DANILO "NILO" MOLINARI Passed away peacefully at his home in Toronto on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Ines for 73 years. Caring father of Lorenzo (Paula) and Adrian (Anne). Cherished Nonno of Angela (Sebastien), Julianna (Daniel), Michael (Susan), Laura (Nick) and Paul (Jennifer). Proud Bisnonno of Nigel, Lucas, Giulia, Matthew, Olivia and Claire. Survived by his two sisters Catarina and Angela. He will be sadly missed by extended family and close friends. Nilo worked extremely hard to provide for his family, "but" life began after retirement. Memorial Visitation to be held at the Glendale Funeral Home, 1810 Albion Rd. (at Hwy. 27), 416-679-1803, on Thursday, August 27th from 3-5 p.m. A Memorial Service will commence at 5 p.m. in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Society Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.

MORELOS, Teresa (Manang) — It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Manang on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 82 years of age. No words can describe how she will be missed by her family and friends. Although predeceased by her parents and her brother Gerardo, she will always be in the hearts of her brother Lito (Amy) and sisters Mina (Brian) and Zenaida, as well as her many cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada, the Philippines, Chicago, New York and California. She was born in the Philippines and became a Teacher working in the provincial schools. Although away from home, she sent all her salary to help her family. She came to Canada in 1972 and worked for Henry Birks and Sons jewellers until her retirement in 1992. She always loved a party and there will be one empty chair at the Mahjong table. She was respected and loved by all and she will be deeply missed. The celebration of her life will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 28th at Bramalea Filipino-Canadian Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8458 Torbram Rd. (just north of Steeles Ave.), Brampton, ON.
