Cosgrove, Carmel
CARMEL COSGROVE (nee ULTICAN) Carmel passed away suddenly, yet peacefully, at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, Ontario, on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in her 92nd year. She proudly served as a registered nurse for over 40 years in Montreal and Toronto. A graduate of St. Mary's in Montreal, she proudly proved the nuns wrong that she would graduate. Carmel was known for her humour, her crazy laugh, her indomitable spirit and most of all for her candour. She was a "Lucille Ball" look-alike in both humour, her silly antics and her beautiful red hair. Carmel will reunite with her husband of 68 years Charles Cosgrove. She will be greatly missed by her seven children and their significant others, fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and friends. The family wishes to thank Trillium Hospital, Beechwood, Sunrise and all the PSWs from Excel for all their care and support over the past two years. The family will have a private celebration of life. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca
