Arthur Benjamin SKIDMORE

SKIDMORE, Arthur Benjamin - (Retired Major - RCAF, Ontario Justice of the Peace and Provincial Court Prosecutor - Hastings County) Passed away peacefully at Trenton Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in his 91st year. Loving husband of Jessie Skidmore of Trenton. Beloved father of Sharron Skidmore and her husband Donald Cooper of Toronto. Survived by his cousin Richard Skidmore of Indiana, USA and his sister-in-law Marion Hunt of Whitby and brother- in-law Bill Paisley (Chris) of Toronto. Fondly remembered by his nephews and his many friends. Arthur flew Thunderbolts and Hurricanes in Burma (WW II) and Sabres in Europe (51-55). He was a Toronto Argonaut (45-48). At Arthur's request, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at the St. Clement Chapel, 91 Namao Dr. E. (off RCAF Rd.), CFB Trenton on Monday, December 10, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Memorial Service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Major Tracy Graf officiating.
