JEYARAJAN, Bastiampillai Xavier (Vinoward) - Retired Superintendent of Post and Telecommunications, and former principal advisor National Savings Bank of Sri Lanka, passed away peacefully in Toronto on Sunday, December 30, 2012 surrounded by his family. Dearly beloved husband of Ida Rose. Loving father and father-in-law of late Marina Dharishini and Roy Nicholas, Anton Surendra, Angela Vinodhini and Basil Xavier, Dr. Marie Sharmini and Dr. Eugene Joseph, Anne Radhini and Gilbert Rasiah, Marino Sathyendra and Amirthi, and Angelo Gnanendra and Aimee. Son of late Muthiah and late Annamuthu Bastiampillai of Karampon, Kayts. Son-in-law of late Dennis and late Rasam Stanislaus. Precious and proud grandfather of Nirusha, Judy, Greshan, Johann, André, Gianna and Ava. Loving brother and brother-in-law of late Winnifred and late Reggie Benedict, late Wilfred Bastiampillai, late Wilmot and late Leela Bastiampillai, late Joseph and late Olive Rajaratnam, late Lily and late Frederick Martyn, late Victor and late Philomena Rajanathan, Cyril and Pushpam Stanislaus, late Alagaratnam and late Ranee Stanislaus and Hector and Ursula Stanislaus. Visitation will be held at the R.S Kane Funeral Home (416-221-1159), 6150 Yonge Street, (south of Steeles at Goulding Avenue), Toronto, Thursday, January 3rd and Friday 4th from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at Prince of Peace Church, 265 Alton Towers Circle, Toronto on Saturday, January 5th at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill.
