Blanche Isabel MOORE

MOORE, Blanche Isabel - Passed away peacefully in Mississauga on Saturday, March 9, 2013 in her 101st year. Predeceased by her husband Mansell (Red), her eldest son Leslie (Larry) and her daughter Susan Herz. Fondly remembered by her sons Paul (Jane), Glen (Betty), Craig (Betty), daughter-in-law Linda Grice, 17 grandchildren, 23 great- grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and brother Ted Price. Isabel graduated from the University of Toronto in 1934, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. She was a longtime resident of the Beach district in Toronto, spending many happy summers near Brechin, Ontario and winters in Tucson, Arizona. For over 13 years, she was a resident of Erin Mills Lodge, Mississauga. Always at home with the Lord: Kew Beach United Church (the Beach), Calvary Baptist Church (the Beach), Brechin United Church, Catalina United Methodist Church (Tucson), St. John's United Church (Scarborough), Church of St. Bride (Anglican). Interment: Pine Hills Cemetery. Memorial service at Church of St. Bride, 1516 Clarkson Rd. N. (north of Truscott Rd.), Mississauga, on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 12:00 noon. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Scholarship Fund of the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW)-Mississauga, (attention: Paul Moore, 584 Old Poplar Row, Mississauga ON, L5J 2P1) would be greatly appreciated.
