Darby (Milton) McCarrol

DARBY (MILTON) McCARROL January 18, 1932 - December 28, 2011 Husband of the late Irene McCarrol and of the late Mary McCarrol. Left a legacy of children: Karen, Elspeth, Susan, Kathy, Alec, Janet, Robert, Evan and 11 grandchildren. Sisters Sheila, Eleanor, Heather and brother Bobby (deceased). With a lifetime passion for bagpipes, Darby played with the RCAF 400 Squadron, retired WO 48th Highlanders of Canada, PM of the Dundas Pipe band and the Caledonia Pipe band, SGT Piper Edmonton Caledonia. Darby played for Highland Dancing across Canada and the US for many years. Past Master Caledonia Lodge. Electrician by trade, Sayers & Associates and Guild Electric. In his journey through life, Darby lived life to the fullest. He remained fiercely independent throughout. The family invite friends to a time of visitation on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 1 to 3 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel at 3 p.m. of the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ROBINSON CHAPEL (King Street East at Wellington).
