Mom was a longtime resident of Oakville, lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow from the Rotary International Foundation. Mom was predeceased by her partner in life Jimmy (James A.) Duncan (January 31, 2002) and will be missed dearly by her daughters Bev Hewston and Bobbi (Larry) Biggs. Loving Nana to Brad Hewston, Jodi (Scott) Michie, Kim Hewston and Sarah (Paul) Abercrombie. Great-Nana to Duncan Michie. Mom made a difference in the lives of others as well as living a rewarding and happy life herself. The family wishes to express thanks for the kindness of those who enriched Mom's life by visiting, calling and caring for her. Please join us for a Celebration of Mom's Life on Wednesday, August 20th at 1 p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church, 89 Dunn St., Oakville. Interment to follow service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Mom's favourite charity, Ian Anderson House, would be greatly appreciated. Condolences through www.koprivataylor.com
