He will be greatly missed by his wife of 64 years, Beryl, his children Jeff (Monica), Janet (John) and Linda (Ken). Idolized by his grandchildren Matthew, Angela, Jeff, Kevin, Adam, Tim and Natalie. Sadly missed by his brother Trevor and predeceased by his brother (and partner in crime) Dennis. Ted was notorious for his sense of humour, his love of history and his scientific prowess. He was born in Birmingham, England and was a veteran of World War II. After having survived as a POW during the war, he emigrated to Canada with his family in 1957. Upon retirement, Ted enjoyed pursuing a higher education and was extremely proud to receive his BA in Medieval History at the tender age of 74. Ted also obtained his private pilot's license in 1981. In his later years Ted's favourite pastime was spending time at the cottage he built himself, with his extended family and friends.
