Elizabeth "Liz" KERR

KERR, Elizabeth "Liz" - (Retired Chief Warrant Officer, Canadian Navy 1955 - 1977 and Retired Registered Nurse and Professor of the School of Nursing, Loyalist College) Passed away peacefully after a brave, but brief battle with cancer at Trenton Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in her 87th year. Beloved sister of Margaret and the late Harold Axler and predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Mary Kerr. Aunt Liz will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her nieces Aimee Axler (Martin Sarra) and Anne Axler and her great-niece and nephews Ben (and Jessie), Nick, Meg, Alex and Emile and step-nieces Danie and Samantha. Lovingly remembered by Joseph Kerr Jr., Peggy Hartle, the late Thomas Kerr, Christine Kerr and their families. Liz is predeceased by her lifelong friend Donna-Jo Paupst. Visitation will be held at the Weaver Family Funeral Home - West Chapel, 170 Dundas St. West, Trenton on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Our Lady of Peace Chapel, CFB Trenton. Major Tracy Graf officiating. Cremation to follow and inurnment will take place at a later date at St. George's Cemetery, Trenton.
