Emma Liberata Bartolomucci

EMMA LIBERATA BARTOLOMUCCI It is with profound sadness that we announce that on June 4, 2011 our beloved daughter Emma and her Blankie peacefully earned her angel wings. She was surrounded by all who loved her - and whom she loved so unconditionally. For 16 months she fought brain cancer so valiantly, with laughter, courage and dignity. She "loved her life". She is our hero. She is survived by her parents Mary and Ugo and her brothers Matthew and Daniel and her dear Nonna Adelina, She is predeceased by her beloved Nonno Gino and Nonna Liberata and Nonno Antonio, her Zio Antonio and her cousin Leo, a gentle giant who will watch over her forever. She will be forever loved and cherished by all her aunts and uncles and cousins and her pseudo-cousins. To her Zio Fabio, Kermit will live on in your heart forever. The family wishes to sincerely thank her doctors and staff of the Sears Cancer Clinic Neuro-Oncology Clinic and the Paediatric Palliative Care Program of Sickkids Hospital. We could not have travelled this journey without your dedication and love to our little girl and her Blankie. Special thanks to the Children's Wish Foundation for making her wish come true and to ErinoakKids in Mississauga. Your perseverance and dedication in making her feel whole despite all the obstacles she faced will always be remembered. And to Linda, Marie, Lia and her nurses of St. Elizabeth Health Care - your Emma Lou will always be smiling and holding her arm up - ready for her blood pressure to be taken.
