Ernest Dutchak

dutchak, Ernest - Retired - Chrysler Etobicoke Casting Plant Peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness at the age of 81. Ernie is lovingly remembered by his wife Teenie, his children Ernie (Kathy) and Arlene and his grandchildren Kim and Adrian. Predeceased by his parents Anne and John G. and his brother Alfred (Blanche), brothers-in-law Joe and Sam. Ernie is fondly remembered by his sisters Alice and Dianne (Gary) and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends. His laughter and light- hearted view of life is what we will all miss. Sincere thanks to Dr. Tom Stanton and the many nurses at the Oakville Hospital who touched Ernie's life and provided such compassionate care throughout his illness. Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home at 420 Dundas St. East in Mississauga on Sunday, December 2nd from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 9 p.m. Panachyda will be held at 8:00 p.m. A Divine Liturgy will be held at Dormition of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church (St. Mary's), 3625 Cawthra Rd., Mississauga on Monday, December 3rd at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery, 1149 Dundas St. West, Oakville. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church Iconography Project or the Oakville Hospital Foundation.
