URBANCIC, Frank - Much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 29, 2013, at age 94, surrounded by his loving family. Admired for his intrepid pioneering spirit, he left his homeland Slovenia in the aftermath of WWII and made Canada his new home. He and Mary, his beloved wife of 60 years, raised their five children to believe in hard work and the value of family. He will be greatly missed by his family, here and in Slovenia and by a large circle of friends who found in him support, laughter and loyalty. Our sincerest thanks to Sara, Mandy, Gloria and Lesley from Saint Elizabeth Health Care as well as the Central West CCAC folks who took such wonderful, gentle and respectful care of Ata in the past year. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of Jane subway, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, 739 Browns Line, on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment Assumption Mausoleum. For those who wish, donations to Dom Lipa Linden Foundation, 52 Neilson Drive, Etobicoke, ON would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made through Pocivaj v miru, dragi Ata
