Helen Lilias MOWLING

MOWLING, Helen Lilias - (Wife of Jack Mowling 1990) It is with sadness that we announce her passing November 5, 2012 in her 98th year after an active life full of loving family and friends. She will be missed by her 2 sons Keith (Anne) and Rae (Gerlinde) and her 7 grandchildren: Christine (KyIe), Stephen (Larissa), Laura (Shyam), Katy, Onil, Panou (Sherry) and Kalen (Jenn) and her 2 great- grandchildren Zachary and Nathan. She was predeceased by her 2 sisters Isobel and Jean and her brother Stuart. A special thanks to the staff at the Credit Valley Hospital Palliative Care unit for their sensitivity and care in her last few weeks. We would also like to give a special recognition to the staff and members at the Mississaugua Golf Club who have been a big part of her life and where she and her husband Jack had many friends and good times. She was an active golfer, curler and bridge player. The staff always made her welcome. She was an active volunteer over the years with Rotary, the and Meals on Wheels. Her desire was to have a private family service. If a donation is desired, then it can be made to the Scott Mission, Habitat for Humanity or Operation Eyesight and these would be appreciated by the family.
