James William ELLISON

ELLISON, James William, D.D.C. - Jim's time came surrounded by his devoted family. A true "gentle man," Jim's humble presence, quick wit, love for family and with concern and patience for all... will always be remembered. Jim was predeceased by his wife Etta (nee Morgan) of 52 years (1992), daughter Elizabeth (1956) and brother Neil (95). Jim was a loving, proud father and will be sadly missed by his sons William (Marie) Ellison, John (Linda) Ellison and daughter Lea (Don) Raven. Jim also made a lasting impression on his cherished grandchildren: Kristen (Terry), Paige (Saverio), Jeremy, Mark, Paul (Keiko), Megan (John), Ann-Marie (Glenn), Corey and great- grandchildren Julia, Alessandra, Sasha, Miller and Janna. Jim was co-founder of the Canadian Chiropractic College on Queen St., Toronto in 1944 and enjoyed 39 years as an examiner, teacher, Secretary/Treasurer Practitioner. He was also a longtime member of the Islington Golf Club. The family sincerely wishes to thank the Pleasantview Manor staff and Dr. Karen Berti for their exceptional care and support. A private family funeral will be held to honour Jim's 99 years of a life well lived.
