JOHN ELASCHUK Peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the MCCall Centre. John, beloved husband of 68 years to Mary. Loving Dad of John and his wife Nancy and Carolynn and her husband Leny Corrado. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Alex, Adam, Kathleen, Andrew, Michael and his great-grandson Zachery. John will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. John proudly served our country in the Navy during WWII, enjoyed to sing in the Hustlers Choir, Etobicoke Centennial Choir and his church choir. He was a true family man, loved to garden, cook and mostly spend time with his family. Family and friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. A celebration of John's life will take place in the chapel at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
