LORRAINE M. WATSON Lorraine passed away peacefully on November 27, 2012. Loving daughter of Doreen and Harold; sister to Haroldine, Jack, Bryan and William; mother of Kyle and Bren and grandmother to Connor, Billy, Cole and Quentin. Lorraine will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A teacher and a traveller, Lorraine's energy knew no limits. She travelled the world extensively and also worked abroad on many occasions as a teacher in such places as China, Japan, Korea and the Caribbean. She was passionate about her students and loved sharing stories about them. Lorraine loved music and was an accomplished piano player who graced many a school and church choir over the years. Lorraine's children and grandchildren held a special place in her heart - no sacrifice was too great for them. Lorraine was always looking to expose her children and grandchildren to some new experience to help them grow and develop as people. Lorraine was a cancer survivor who understood that every day is precious and she lived her life that way. Lorraine's absence will be felt deeply by her friends and family but her memory will live on with us; the next time we have coffee with a friend, go to the movies or a new restaurant, read a book, watch our kids play hockey, listen to a beautiful song or board an airplane, she will be there with us in spirit. Lorraine truly was one of a kind. According to Lorraine's wishes, the funeral service was for immediate family members only. If desired, donations can be made to The Bridgepoint Health Foundation.
