MARGARET ELIZABETH ANDERSON (nee MCQUEEN) Passed away with grace and dignity at the Hamilton General Hospital on December 31, 2012 in her 88th year. Beloved wife for 45 years of the late Kenneth Anderson. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Allan and Mary Anderson (Oakville), Jean Anderson and Randall Friedland (Toronto) and Karen and Joe Martindale (Ancaster). Cherished sister of Jean Senn, Leslie MCQueen and Peter MCQueen. Grandmother to Christopher, Heather, Anne, Daniel, Rachel, Emily and Ryan and great-grandmother to Otis. Sister-in-law to Phyllis MCQueen, Mabel MCQueen, Kay MCQueen and Fran Anderson. Predeceased by her son Douglas; brothers Jack and Murray MCQueen; brothers and sisters-in-law: Stewart Senn, Keith Anderson, Emerson Fox, June Fox, Kay MCQueen and Pat MCQueen. Margaret will always be remembered for her gentle nature, kindness and generosity. She brightened the lives of all who had the good fortune to cross her path. Margaret will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends in the Caledonia community, particularly the members of York United Church. Special thanks to the caregivers from Seniors for Seniors Hamilton and to the medical team of the Integrated Stroke Unit, Hamilton General Hospital for providing loving and gentle care to Margaret. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 5th at Miller Funeral Chapel in Caledonia, Ontario. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., also at Miller Funeral Chapel.
