Margaret Wong KO

KO, Margaret Wong - Peacefully passed away on June 27, 2013 at Sunnybrook Hospital. She was a widow of Tom, a loving mother to Mei-ling and Peter, Sandra and Max (deceased), a life partner to Jimmy, PoPo to Nicki and Roger, Laurie and Perry and TiPo to Jasmine. She will also be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Toronto and British Columbia. She was born in 1916 in Victoria, BC. Margaret was a past President of the Chinese Canadian Association, worked with the International YWCA, an avid volunteer leader for the - Chinatown area, fundraiser for the Mon Sheong Home and had many memories of working at the Ports of Call Restaurant complex. She had a love of travelling that took her all around the world. A visitation will be held at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W. (2 stoplights west of Yonge St.), on Wednesday, July 3rd from 7-9 p.m. A service will be in the chapel on Thursday, July 4th at 11 a.m. If so desired, a memorial donation may be made to the or the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation, in lieu of flowers.
