Marjorie "Jean" RICHARDS

RICHARDS, Marjorie "Jean" - 1922 - 2012 Such a treasure; a wonderful vibrant woman; feisty, funny and always well dressed; the most thoughtful, funny lady; she always made our gatherings so much fun - just some of the words from family and friends to describe Jean. And now she's gone, succumbing December 15, 2012 to a stroke following a series of illnesses while visiting family in Carleton Place. Many thanks to the paramedics, nurses and doctors who cared for her with tenderness and compassion throughout her final weeks. The most beloved and adored wife of the late Fred (Joe), family was her number one priority in life and we are left with glorious memories of this amazing woman. Jean was comforted in her final days by her daughter Sandy (Jim Kinnear), son Fred (Cathy), grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place with a celebration of Jean's life to be held in Carleton Place in May. If you would like to make a donation in her memory please consider The Carleton Place Memorial Hospital Foundation, 211 Lake Ave. E., Carleton Place, K7C 3P2. Unable are the loved to die. For love is immortality.
